Barrie has considerable experience within the construction and civil engineering industries and has worked on a vast variety of building types ranging in form, size and complexity. He has been a work colleague of Richard Whitaker in various architectural practices, small medium and large, in the UK and in South East Asia.

Barrie holds formal qualifications in Building Construction and in Computing and was a pioneer in the use of CAD within the UK construction sector. He has taught Information Technology, held positions in IT management and has an enviable knowledge of differing software applications. Barrie has experienced many forms of building procurement including Construction Management, Management Contracting as well as the more traditional routes and methods.

Barrie has a keen interest in Computer Graphics and is an accomplished 3D CAD modeller and visualiser.
